Meet Elle! She served as a Short-Term Missionary with CCCD this summer.
"Throughout my time, I kept finding that the more I learned about the CCCD staff and students, the more I learned about God. Different people revealed different parts of His character to me.
I saw His gentleness in the way the cooks cared for me like a little sister, His joy in the way the students included me in their routines and life, His patience in the staff who were willing to communicate with me when my sign wasn't perfect, and His faithfulness in the stories they trusted me with. I went expecting to see God move through serving others, and instead, so often I found God in what I was willing to receive from them. I think that changed my understanding of both mission and love." -Elle Kiszka STM 2026
