Good morning Pike County! Tomorrow at noon at American Pie we will be having a membership drive, as we look to continue expanding our impact on the community. For tomorrow only, the membership application fee will be waived for all attendees who choose to join.

We are excited to have two of our members, Pastor Billy Smith and GA State Representative Beth Camp, come by to speak a few words to us during lunch! Membership is open to all who would like to get involved in a club that not only helps so many kids across our community, but also provides a social experience for you to get to know more people in Pike who are passionate about charitable work!

A visit tomorrow at the very least gets you a free meal, but could lead to a whole lot more!

It’s the season of giving! Today, Kiwanis of Pike County dropped by the high school and was able to present the band at Pike County High School with a check for $500 to go toward their instrument budget. Mr. Ewing was kind enough to allow us to meet the kids today and take a photo, and we enjoyed our visit!

Yesterday’s 2nd annual Pike County Kiwanis golf tournament was a major success! Congratulations to the two winning teams from Metts Electric and JW Rogers Enterprise! Thank you to Raintree Golf Club for hosting us, and we look forward to doing this all again next year!
