Mission Oaks Gardens Mission Oaks Gardens is a beautiful urban garden located in Zanesville, OH. More than 5 acres of gardens showcase 100's of rare and unusual plants.

Azaleas, rhododendrons, perennials, and annuals fill the gardens year-round. Waterfalls, creek paths, a large pond, a rose garden, and a renowned conifer garden are all found on the site. The 1/4 acre conifer garden contains over 300 trees many of which are not native to North America. Master gardeners and local horticultural society volunteers help maintain and play host to these unique gardens n

ow part of the Muskingum Valley Park District. The gardens are open from dawn to dusk daily. Educational opportunities occur year-round in our new volunteer building.
