The SYL Project was founded to support and uplift individuals and families impacted by cancer.

The SYL Project encourages you to "share your love" with others by continuing the legacy of compassion and encouragement left by Sylvia Baliga. She passed away on October 15, 2012 after battling breast cancer for the second time. Sylvia had a huge heart and enjoyed making others smile through acts of kindness. In the same way, the SYL Project performs acts of service and outreach for individuals and families impacted by cancer to bring light to what is a very dark time in their lives. You are encouraged to reach out to us if you know of an individual or family facing a cancer diagnosis that would benefit from our services.

What is The SYL Project all about? In short, it’s about Sharing Your Love. We all know someone that has been impacted by cancer. The SYL Project creates care packages for cancer patients and their families. We would love to send a care package to someone in need. Send an email to [email protected] and tell us about your candidate for a SYL Project outreach. Our application committee will review all submissions and select a recipient for an outreach on the 15th of each month. We look forward to hearing from you!
