Kirkmont Center- A Place for all People in all Seasons Kirkmont Center is located in Logan County in Zanesfield, OH & has lodges & 250+ beautiful acres. https://givebutter.com/GoodrichRoofFund

Kirkmont Center boasts a natural fen, two ponds (one for nature study and one for canoeing, paddle boating, and fishing), cliffs and natural ravines, and a work-in-progress Adena Indian archeological site. Kirkmont Center is classified by naturalists as one of the most unique parcels of land in the State of Ohio. Because of the site’s diversity, local schools avail themselves of Kirkmont’s environmental education program. Nearby is Campbell Hill, the highest point in Ohio (Kirkmont is the second highest). Other attractions near Kirkmont include Ohio Caverns (open throughout the year); the Piatt Castles, Mac-O-Chee and Mac-O-Cheek, built in the 1800s; Pioneer House, the family homestead of the Piatts and part of the Underground Railroad Network; and skiing at Mad River Mountain.

The Kirkmont family is grieving the loss of Floyd "Buzz" Reed, known to so many of us as "Mr. Kirkmont," who passed away on October 20.

For many years, Buzz chaired Kirkmont's Board of Directors and was instrumental in establishing Kirkmont Center, Inc. and carrying the camp into its next chapter.

He gave his time, his heart, and many long drives to keep Kirkmont's doors open, and he stayed devoted to this place for as long as he was able.

We owe so much of who we are today to his dedication and vision.

Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.

We are saddened to share that Rev. Woody Amidon passed away on October 20.

Woody was a retired PC(USA) pastor from Bellefontaine and a well-loved member of the Kirkmont family. He came to camp, generously supported our work, and organized our art retreat weekends. His paintings still hang around camp, and we'll think of him every time we pass one.

Please hold his family and friends in your prayers. We'll share service information when it's available.

We're looking for people to help lead team building and our low ropes challenge course! 🧗 Groups come to Kirkmont to work together on things like the Whale Watch (balancing a whole group on one platform), the Wild Woozy, and the Trust Fall, and we'd love more leaders to guide them.
If you like working with people, enjoy the outdoors, and get excited when a group finally figures it out together, we'd love to hear from you. This is a paid position, and volunteers are always welcome too!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2nd Annual Heroes Dinner. ⭐ We spent the evening honoring the volunteers, staff, campers, and givers who carry Kirkmont. The stories in that room reminded us why this hill matters. If you've ever worked a summer, sent a kid, or given to this place: you're one of our heroes too.
