We had a VERY successful Community Class!!!

Spears were shaped, bolas were thrown, hooks were carved and memories were made. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all who came out and made it such a wonderful afternoon!

Spent the morning gathering materials for Wednesday's Ancient Hunter class!

The van's loaded down with poles for spears and a huge bundle of extra material that we'll use for future projects and classes. Wednesday is going to be an awesome day!

Also, if you ever see someone like this out driving around, remember that they're probably a pretty cool person having a fun adventure! 😉

It's a beautiful day to get outside and do something awesome!!

This little short captures the heart & soul of teaching. Not just survival and wilderness skills, but in general. Every educator has that moment that sticks with them and never gets old.

I created Central Ohio Outdoors and More to stand in the gap between wanting and doing, and to help bring people to those moments of realization that they are capable of more than they realize. It may sound simple on paper, but it runs deep.

This is honestly kind of bitter-sweet to post!

The June 17th Community Class has filled all it's slots and is now closed. I can't wait to meet everyone who signed up and work with you all to create beautiful and functional tools to add to your adventures.

A little bit of skills practice at the local baseball and softball games this evening. Willow pieces bound with makeshift cord made from a tattered scrap of shopping bag I found by some of the bleachers. Solid enough to use and bring in dinner if need be. 🎣

We're home safe & sound from an amazing weekend with and more at Wild God!

Such a powerful event run by passionate, loving people sharing the glory of the Gospel with everyone in attendance and teaching some awesome outdoors skills along the way. I took almost no pictures over the weekend, it just wasn't on my mind to try and get content. Though I wish I had grabbed a selfie with some of these fine folks at the very least.

If you're ever looking for a life changing, family event to attend, look no further than Wild God. We'll be back again in the future, you can count on it!
