The start of a new adventure this morning!

My two oldest kiddos are starting the school year today and I have been asked to teach the science wing of the co-op for the first six weeks!

Survival, Woodcraft, and Ancient skills sounds like an awesome way to launch the school year to me!

The community classes have been such a success this year that I have decided to add a bonus class in the middle of October!

Come out and see us for a few hours and learn about knife use, care, and safety on a whole new level.

Participants will be using sharp knives, and so participation is up to personal and parental discretion.

We will have a couple simple carving projects to work on, there will be a variety of knives for people to try out and handle, and there will be some great discussion all around!

See you on Saturday, October 17th!

The decision has been made to cancel Kid's Day this year due to weather, and flooding. It's going to be a pretty wretched weekend for an event like this. We're going to miss seeing everyone and we hope everyone is staying safe, and as dry as possible!

Plans for Kid's Day 2027 are already in the works and it will be back better than ever! Stay tuned!

Yesterday was rainy but that didn't stop this awesome group of people from coming out and learning some old school fishing! Here they're hard at work carving gorge hooks.

We had a blast and it was another phenomenal community class! Our next community class is survival fire coming up on Wednesday, September 16th at the Kirkmont Center in Zanesfield! RSVP your group at:
