A huge thank you to The Lemon Grove for generously donating oranges for our tabling event recently! 🍊☀️

As we celebrated America’s 250th birthday and represented the state of Florida, we wanted to hand out something fun and healthy for children and families to enjoy — and oranges were the perfect fit as Florida’s state fruit. Even with our last-minute request, The Lemon Grove stepped in without hesitation to help make it happen.

We are so grateful for community partners like The Lemon Grove who continuously show up to support local organizations and community events. Thank you for helping us create a memorable experience for everyone who stopped by our table! 💜

On 4/18, we had the opportunity to attend a festival hosted by the City of Yuma in honor of America’s 250th birthday. Each organization represented a different state—and we were proud to bring a little sunshine by representing Florida ☀️🌴

It was a fun day connecting with the community and celebrating together!

We had a fantastic time at the Yuma Palms Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 8, where we received a special proclamation from the mayor of Yuma!

We are proud to share that November 8, 2025 is now officially “Yuma Palms Regional Center & Arizona's Children Association Holiday Tree Lighting Day!”

A huge thank you to the Yuma Palms Regional Center for their wonderful partnership in making this event possible. It was an evening filled with joy, community spirit, and holiday cheer—made even more special with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus! 🎅❤️

Little Hands, Big Steps Childcare + Arizona’s Children Association = one amazing collaboration!

This week, children at Little Hands, Big Steps Child Care took part in our Language & Literacy Workshop—and it was a day full of joy, learning, and laughter.

🐵 The kids loved our interactive reading of “Goodnight, Gorilla” and had a blast during the literacy hunt, where they searched, spotted, and celebrated letters in fun and playful ways.

Thank you to our collaborators at Little Hands, Big Steps for helping us create such a meaningful, engaging experience for young learners. Together, we’re building a love for reading and strong literacy skills from the very start! 📖
