🧘‍♀️✨ Thank you, Studio Y Yuma! ✨🧘‍♀️

We are so grateful to Studio Y Yuma for opening your doors and giving our hardworking cookie sellers the opportunity to take a yoga class! 💚🍪

These girls worked so hard during cookie season, and we loved being able to reward them with an experience focused on movement, wellness, and fun! 🧘‍♀️💪🏼✨

Thank you for the wonderful partnership and for supporting our Girl Scouts! We hope this is just the beginning of many more collaborations together! 💕🌟

Yuma County residents may be eligible for nutrition assistance (SNAP) if they are an Able-Bodied Adult Without Dependents (ABAWD) because the federal three-month benefit time limit is temporarily waived. The ABAWD requirements generally apply to residents who are physically and mentally able to work; age 18-64; and not living with a child under age 14.

What this change means:

● Residents may not need to meet ABAWD work requirements for SNAP benefits from March 2026 through February 2027.
● This exemption was granted because the area has an unemployment rate over 10%.
● This change applies to eligible Yuma County residents.
● After February 2027, residents may need to meet ABAWD work requirements to continue receiving SNAP.

As a DES Community Partner, we ask that you share this information with your community members who may be eligible for this benefit. Flyers with additional information are attached. Please let us know if you have any questions. Apply here:
