🚗👶 Car Seat Safety Update 👶🚗
As part of our ongoing commitment to child passenger safety, we’ve received E.P.I.C. (Emergency Pediatric Information Card) car seat safety stickers from the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS)!
These stickers are designed to help caregivers, children, and first responders by clearly displaying important information directly on a child’s car seat.
What caregivers should know:
•Stickers should be placed on a clean, visible area of the car seat where there is no existing labeling (some seats may have limited space).
•For rear-facing seats with interchangeable bases, the sticker should be placed on the seat itself, not the base. Caregivers with multiple bases may need a sticker for each one.
•Before applying, wipe the area with an alcohol pad and let it dry to ensure the sticker adheres properly.
•Stickers should be filled out before application and are one-time use only.
Children grow and change—and so do their needs. Families may need additional stickers as car seats are replaced, medical information changes, or children outgrow their current seats.
👉 If you need E.P.I.C. stickers, you can find them at ANY of our Rural Metro Fire locations. Stop by and ask for them. Our goal is to support all families, including those who may need to purchase new car seats as their child grows. Thank you for helping us keep our youngest passengers safe!
