One of the best days of the year, getting to see the kids graduate from high school. All seven graduating spent countless hours in the wrestling room. Four of the seven also graduated from AWC with an Associate’s Degree. This group garnered two state titles, a state runner up, and six state place winners. Now go out a do big things in the world! CG!

Six members of the Chain Gang Wrestling Club had the opportunity to test their skills against the best wrestlers in the country at the NHSCA Nationals in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Over 6000 entrants from all 50 states wrestling on 79 mats is an insane experience. We didn’t come home with an All American this year but we learned a lot of valuable lessons and won some matches. RPG!

The Chain Gang went to Maricopa yesterday for the first Savage Saturday of the year. Putting time in during the off season is the only way to get better and achieve your goals. These boys are bought in. I even had an assistant coach for the day. RPG!

Congratulations to Trenton Blomquist for earning a 5th place finish at 197 lbs. at the NAIA National Championships. Trenton is a four time AZ state placer, two time AZ state champion, two time high school All-American, a high school National Champion, and adds a collegiate All-American to his resume. Trenton earned everything by working hard, being disciplined, and being mentally tough. CG!

Shout out to these two doing big things on the next level. We were fortunate to see Trenton Blomquist wrestle at a tournament we recently went to and he dominated his opponent 14-0. Trenton and Mikey Doerr met up at the National Duals with Trenton going 4-1 and Mikey getting the opportunity to wrestle in the NAIA finals going 3-1 for the weekend. Keeping working to get on the podium boys. CG!
