Introducing Heroic Tails Collective 🩵
Heroic Tails is changing but the mission behind it isn’t. What began as Heroic Tails Sanctuary taught me just how many incredible people it takes to save one animal. Rescuers. Fosters. Transporters. Volunteers. Adopters. Donors. Advocates. And sometimes, just the person who happens to say, “I can help.”
But I also learned how disconnected rescue can feel. One rescue has supplies another desperately needs.
One person is willing to foster, but doesn’t know where to start.
Someone can transport a dog halfway across the state, if only they knew someone needed them.
Small rescues are drowning while resources exist just a few connections away.
So instead of rebuilding Heroic Tails as another rescue organization, I want to build something that connects the people already doing the work.
So… Welcome to Heroic Tails Collective!
A community for people involved in animal rescue. A place to share resources, ask questions, find fosters and transport, connect with rescues, learn from one another, advocate for animals, and hopefully make this work feel a little less lonely.
You don’t need to run a nonprofit to make a difference.
You don’t need hundreds of followers.
You don’t need a facility or a title.
Sometimes saving a life starts with something as simple as making the right connection.
This chapter of Heroic Tails isn’t about my rescue. It’s about all of us.
