Two years ago, Brianna Holman walked through the doors of Charis as a Mental Health Coach, and our house has been warmer ever since. Brianna lives the everyday moments of recovery with our patients: the meals, the hard conversations, the small victories that no one else sees. That kind of consistency is rare, and it changes lives.

Brianna, thank you for two years of faithful, steady care. We are so grateful God brought you to Charis!

Our bodies were never meant to be our enemies.

Society has taught us to manipulate, control, and change our bodies—to measure them, criticize them, and constantly ask if they're “good enough.”

But our bodies aren't asking to be controlled.
They are asking to be cared for.

Eating disorder recovery can mean learning to listen to your body again. To nourish it. To rest it. To respect it. To recognize that your body deserves care—not punishment.

Your body is not a problem to solve. It is a body to care for.

Meet BENNY! 🐾💙

We are so excited to introduce you to Benny—short for Benjamin—the precious puppy who will be part of our live auction at the Lives Restoried Gala!

Generously donated by , Benny is an F1 Cavapoo with a beautiful black coat, tan markings, and an expected full-grown weight of 10–15 pounds.
We chose the name Benjamin because it means “son of the right hand.”

Throughout Scripture, the right hand is associated with strength, favor, and blessing—all things we pray over Charis and every life that walks through our doors. 💙

And while Benny is already stealing hearts, we can’t wait to see who will welcome him home!
