🎉🐾 EXCITING NEWS! EDGAR HAS BEEN ADOPTED! 🐾🎉

❤️ Another foster fail, and we couldn’t be happier! ❤️

Remember Edgar, the sweet stray kitty who was found back in July? Well, we have some wonderful news to share! Edgar has officially been adopted by his foster family! 🏡🐱

Edgar’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. When he was found wandering outdoors, he had a tipped ear, indicating he had likely been part of a trap-neuter-return (TNR) program. Unfortunately, Edgar was in pretty rough shape. He was suffering from an upper respiratory infection, diarrhea, and significant weight loss.

Thankfully, a kindhearted finder stepped up to give Edgar a safe place to recover. With veterinary care, medication, good nutrition, and lots of TLC, Edgar slowly began to heal and regain his strength. ❤️

But somewhere along the way, something even more wonderful happened. Edgar didn’t just get healthy—he found his forever family! 🥹

His foster family fell in love with him, and Edgar has now successfully settled into their home as a permanent member of the family!

No more wandering the streets, no more wondering where his next meal will come from, and no more struggling to survive outdoors. Edgar now has a warm, safe home, a family who adores him, and a lifetime of love ahead of him. 🏡💕

A HUGE thank-you to Edgar’s foster family for opening their hearts and home to a kitty who desperately needed someone to care. You didn’t just save his life—you gave him the happy ending every rescue animal deserves.

From a sick, underweight stray in July to a healthy, loved indoor kitty in October—Edgar, you’ve come a long way, sweet boy! ❤️🐾

This is why we rescue. This is why fosters matter. And this is why we never give up on the underdogs (or undercats)! 🐱❤️

Happy tails, Edgar! You are HOME! 🎉

🐾❤️ TWO SWEET SOULS NEED A PLACE TO CALL HOME! FOSTERS OR ADOPTERS NEEDED! ❤️🐾

Meet Bon and Jovi! These two Great Pyrenees mixes have already survived so much, and now they need our help finding the loving homes they deserve.

☀️ Their story began in Shawnee, Oklahoma, during the brutal summer heat wave when temperatures soared above 100 degrees. These two were found dehydrated and struggling in the extreme heat.

Thankfully, a kindhearted woman stepped up and rescued them. She brought them to safety, fed them, cared for them, and made sure they received the veterinary care they desperately needed. Both have now been spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

Unfortunately, their rescuer lives in a rental property that does not allow pets, so she cannot keep them. We’re hoping our wonderful rescue community can help us find them somewhere safe to land!

🐻 MEET BON – 2-YEAR-OLD MALE

* Handsome brown Great Pyrenees mix
* Neutered and vaccinated
* Very sweet and good with other animals
* Heartworm positive, but Underdogs Rescue is willing to help with his heartworm treatment!
* Looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home

🤍 MEET JOVI – 1-YEAR-OLD FEMALE

* Gorgeous white Great Pyrenees mix
* Spayed and fully vaccinated
* Sweet temperament and good with other animals
* Ready for her forever home!
* Available for adoption or fostering

❤️ Both Bon and Jovi have been wonderful with other animals, and their rescuer reports no behavioral issues.

These two have already experienced what it’s like to struggle in extreme conditions, but thanks to one compassionate person, they were given a second chance.

Now they need someone to help them take the next step.

We would love to find homes for both of them. Whether you can foster, foster to adopt, or offer a permanent home, you could make all the difference in their lives.

🐾 PLEASE SHARE! Even if you cannot foster or adopt, sharing this post could help us reach the person who can.

📩 Message Underdogs Rescue if you’re interested in helping Bon or Jovi.

They survived the Oklahoma heat. Now let’s help them find the love, comfort, and security they deserve. ❤️🐾

🐾❤️ WELCOME TO THE UNDERDOGS RESCUE, CHESTER! ❤️🐾

🚨 Another life saved from the euthanasia list! 🚨

Meet Chester, a handsome approximately 2-year-old male Doberman whose life has been turned upside down more than once. 💔

Chester found himself on the euthanasia list TODAY at the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter. Thankfully, because a wonderful foster family stepped up, we were able to say YES and save his life! 🙏❤️

Chester’s story is heartbreaking. He was originally adopted from the shelter back in July, only to find himself back there again in October. We understand that his original adopter had rehomed him to someone in the community, but that individual was reportedly taken into ICE custody, leaving Chester without a home once again.

Through no fault of his own, this sweet boy ended up right back where he started, facing an uncertain future. 💔

But today, Chester’s luck changed! 🐾

Thanks to his amazing fosters, Chester is now safe, resting, and decompressing in a loving home. We also have some concerns about one of his front legs, which we plan to have evaluated by our veterinarian once he’s had a chance to settle in.

For now, our priority is giving Chester the love, security, and medical attention he deserves.

❤️ This is why fosters are SO important! Without someone willing to open their home, Chester’s story could have ended very differently today.

To Chester’s wonderful foster family, THANK YOU for stepping up when his life depended on it. You are the reason he gets another chance!

🐾 Welcome to the Underdogs family, Chester! You are safe now, sweet boy. Your next chapter starts today, and we promise to do everything we can to make it a happy one. ❤️

Please help us welcome Chester and send him lots of love and positive thoughts as he begins his journey with us!
