Meet our teacher, Ms Courtney. Ms Courtney has been the Children's Minister at Town & Country for the past 19 years. She is also a mom to 3 amazing girls that are in elementary school. Ms Courtney brings energy and enjoyment to every person she encounters. I cannot wait for our Parkland kiddos to meet Ms Courtney because I am confident that they will LOVE learning about the Bible through her teaching. If you have any questions for Courtney, feel free to ask in the comments and she will do her best to answer them!

Here are a few questions that I have been asked:

Q: Do the LifeWise staff members have a background check?

A: Yes! In order to work with kids in LifeWise, an applicant goes through a background check as well as training.

Q: Will this disrupt my learning in the regular school day?

A: LifeWise will take place on Thursdays in April during your child's specials hour. They will not be missing any core learning, and will only miss the specials class (music, art, PE) only one time each this Spring.

Q: What denomination is LifeWise?

A: LifeWise is not a church, but simply Bible education! Therefore, LifeWise does not have a denomination. There is a statement of faith that can be found here: https://lifewise.org/parentinfo/

Q: Is there a curriculum that is used?

A: Yes! LifeWise utilizes The Gospel Project for the elementary curriculum. You can see a sample of the curriculum here: https://lifewise.org/parentinfo/

Q: Why is it being held at Town & Country?

A: Town & Country agreed to partner with LifeWise and provide a classroom for LifeWise Parkland. This makes it very convenient since it is in walking distance from the school. Every LifeWise class must be held off school property to stay within the law.

If you have other questions, please post in the comments since others may have the same question. I will do my best to reply with an answer!

LifeWise Academy maintains a high view of the authority of Scripture, and we align ourselves with historic, orthodox Christian beliefs as expressed in the Nicene Creed.
