One year ago, God placed a vision on my heart that felt way too big for me to carry.
A rescue and restoration ranch…
For horses.
For people.
For broken places that needed healing.
And let me be clear… it didn’t make sense.
I didn’t have all the answers.
I had no clue how to run a nonprofit.
I didn’t have a perfect plan.
I had no clue how to get the ball rolling.
There were moments it felt completely impossible.
But when God calls you in a direction, there’s a knowing you can’t ignore.
So I said yes.
Not a confident, polished yes…
But a trembling, uncertain, “I’ll take the next step” kind of yes.
Step by step…
Prayer by prayer…
Obedience in the small things…
Even when I couldn’t see the full picture.
(And I still can’t completely)
Even when I questioned if I was capable.
(Still doing this 🤫)
Even when the road felt unclear.
But I hold strong to the knowledge that faith isn’t about having it all figured out…
It’s about trusting the One who does.
And today…
We received official documentation from the IRS that we are now a fully federally approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Let me say that again…
What once felt impossible is now real.
Not because I had it all together…
But because God did.
God chose my perfect board members well before I ever asked them to join me in this mission!
This journey has taught me that when God plants something in your heart, it’s not random.
It’s not wishful thinking.
It’s an invitation.
An invitation to trust Him.
To MOVE… even when it’s uncomfortable.
To take intentional steps forward… even when you don’t fully understand where they’ll lead.
Because His plans are bigger than our fear.
Greater than our limitations.
And far beyond anything we could ever imagine for ourselves.
If He called you to it…
He will equip you for it.
If He placed it in your heart…
He will bring it to completion.
All He’s asking for is your yes.
So if you’re standing at the edge of something that feels overwhelming…
If you’re questioning whether you’re ready…
If you’re waiting until it all makes sense…
This is your reminder:
You don’t have to see the whole path.
You just have to take the next step.
And trust that God will meet you there 🤍
