⚠️ Yucca Valley reminds residents, contractors and local businesses to stay alert for phishing scams impersonating Town personnel regarding projects, permits or payments. Always use caution when receiving unexpected emails claiming to be from Town personnel.

Some scam emails may include seemingly official seals, specific project information and Town personnel signatures, while requesting urgent payment or wire transfers.

If you receive a suspicious email:
🚫 Avoid responding or sending payment
🔗 Avoid clicking links or opening attachments
✅ Verify the request using official contact information listed on the Town’s website

Residents are also encouraged to carefully review sender email addresses, as scammers may use display names that appear legitimate, but are non-government domains or unrelated accounts.
