First time on a school bus since 2019. I’m taking a small group of girls to “Diva Day 26” with the Harborlites Chorus. This is the first time we’ve had the opportunity to go. Looking forward to an amazing day! Thank you to Morongo Unified, Amy Woods, Dr. Gutierrez, and Deanna Skinta for allowing our students this opportunity. Special thanks to Desiree Sielen for coming out last week to spend some time with the students!

What are the Music Boosters?

The Music Boosters are the lifeline of our amazing program. They help plan fundraisers and manage donations, help me manage concerts and events, and always have amazing ideas on how best to support this program. Being a Music Booster means you are directly involved in the decisions that benefit this program. Being a Music Booster means you get to see the inside out and behind the scenes of what we do to ensure the best music education possible for your student. Whether you want to be our new secetary, or a general booster, your support if always more than welcome.

Speaking of fundraisers and donations, where does all that money go?

You generous donations and any money we earn from fundraisers go directly into the program. Simply said, the more money we have, the more things we can do. The fund we receive go towards buying music, instruments, and other equipment. It goes towards performance opprtunities. It goes towards travel for competitions and festivals. It goes towards paying for coaches for our winter ensembles. But most importantly, it goes into benefiting the program that your student is in.

Say I am interested in the secretary position. What do I have to do?

Secretary is the easiest possition in our Boosters! The time commitement is one hour once a month, and at meetings, you take the minutes (write down what is being discusses). That's it! Super simple, and it is an amazing way to show support and ensure the success of this program.
