About Spenser:
Spenser Little is a El Cajon California based self taught artist. Starting with clay as a young child he quickly moved into wood carving and metal fabrication. He started making marionette puppets in his teens, which led to diorama’s and viewer generated kinetic art. From there, he developed a love of kinetics and movement in his sculptures.
In his early twenties Little stumbled onto the idea of wire as a sculptural practice through using of the material with wooden marionettes. Wire soon took over and he began leaving wire objects in public spaces in the late 90s.
Little has left wire sculptures all around the world and shown his works in galleries and museums internationally.
