❤️🐾 Please adopt, foster or Share Appletun! - 375498🐾❤️

Meet Appletun, a smaller-sized German Shepherd with a huge heart and so much love to give.

This handsome boy was recently returned to the shelter through absolutely no fault of his own. His foster family cared deeply for him, but a family member developed allergies and could no longer keep him. Now Appletun finds himself back at the shelter during a critical time when kennels are overflowing and space is extremely limited.

Appletun is everything people hope for in a companion. He's smart, eager to learn, incredibly treat motivated, and already knows several basic obedience commands. He loves working with his people and truly wants to make them proud. He has also done well with easygoing female dogs.

Most shelter dogs never get the chance to show how amazing they are. Appletun deserves that chance.

Every day he waits is another day he spends wondering why he's back in a kennel instead of a home. He doesn't understand that his family didn't give up on him. He only knows that he's waiting for someone new to walk through the door and choose him.

❤️ Could that someone be you?

📨 To meet Appletun, please email: [email protected]

🏠 When you adopt Appletun, you're not only saving his life, you're opening a space for another homeless dog in need.

📹 Be sure to watch his video and see what makes this special boy so easy to love.

Pit Saver Productions has been dedicated for many years to promoting amazing shelter dogs and helping potential adopters see these animals beyond the shelter environment. Our mission has always been to increase awareness, encourage adoption, and showcase the true personalities of shelter pets.

We also strive to support homeless individuals caring for dogs by providing dog food, basic necessities, and occasional assistance such as protein shakes, meal gift cards, jackets, collars, and leashes. Recently, our team assisted a man and his husky in Sacramento on October 12 with dog food and protein shakes. Then, on October 18, we provided similar support, along with a winter coat, to another man and his dog in the Marysville area.
