Sutter County Community Action Agency (SCCAA) is a local private non-profit organization that carries out the Community Action Program which was founded by the 1964 Economic Opportunity Act to fight poverty by empowering the poor as part of the War on Poverty. SCCAA is intended to promote self-sufficiency, and they depend heavily on volunteer work, especially from the low-income community. The Com

munity Services Block Grant (CSBG) is the agencies' core federal funding and is always seeking additional sources of revenue to extend its program. SCCAA is governed by a board of directors consisting of at least one-third low-income community members, one-third public officials or their designees, and up to one-third private sector leaders.

Hope Haven Counseling & Support Center is pleased to announce a new drop-in support group designed for teens ages 13–18.

The group is open and informal and will focus on managing stress, building confidence and more.
• Start Date: Tuesday, July 7th
• Time: 3:30–4:30 PM
• Frequency: Weekly on Tuesdays, ongoing based on attendance
• Location: Hope Haven Training Room, 103 D Street, Marysville, CA 95901 (across from Silver Dollar and Habitat for Humanity)

YCUSD Nutrition Services is excited to offer free meals this summer!

Our Summer Meal Program helps ensure students continue to have access to nutritious meals while school is out of session. Meals are available to all children and teens ages 0–18 years.

No application, registration, or identification is required to receive meals.
