CSEA: A Voice for Classified
Representing more than 230,000 classified school employees, CSEA is a democratic union, governed completely by our members. With the power of CSEA, one single member can propose an idea for a new state law in a chapter meeting, watch it work through CSEA’s democratic process, and potentially see that idea make it onto the floor of the Legislature and become a law with
the stroke of the governor’s pen. CSEA is the collective wishes, values, goals and priorities of all our members. Our union is the megaphone by which the voice of few becomes the combined voice of hundreds of thousands, united by the common goal of improving the lives of our members, students and communities.
