Yuba Sutter Food Bank Our mission is to lead the fight against food insecurity through community partnerships. We believe that access to nutritious food is a basic human right.

🧑For Hunger ACTION Month, we’re shining a spotlight on some of the incredible volunteers who show up month after month to help us feed local families.

This small but mighty crew of 11 built 1,000 food boxes in just one morning last week! And this isn’t a one-time effort. They consistently show up every fourth Friday of the month to take on this essential task. Thank you Cameron Elkins - Guild Mortgage for organizing this group!

Their dedication, hard work, and willingness to keep showing up make a tremendous difference. We truly could not do this work without them. Thank you all for being such an important part of our mission to make sure no one in our community goes hungry.

🧑 September is Hunger ACTION Month! 🧑

To kick things off, we’re thrilled to announce we are partnering with our local Sizzler Family Steak House for Cheese Toast Month! All September long, when you order the Cheese Toast Patty Melt or the Cheese Toast Malibu Melt, 100% of the profits will be donated to us at the Yuba-Sutter Food Bank.

We are heartbroken by the loss of one of our incredible volunteers of many years, Gerald. He was a kind and generous man who selflessly served his community in many ways. We wanted to give a special shout out to one of our volunteers, Peter, who has spent his summer break volunteering with us. Peter is a student at UC Davis, and while home for the summer he decided to do something positive with his time by volunteering at our warehouse a few days a week!
