The Siskiyou Detachment meets at the Yreka Elks Lodge, located at 332 W. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. All active-duty military members and veterans are welcomed. On January 10, 2026, members of the Honor Guard from the Marine Corps League, Siskiyou Detachment No. 936, gathered at Evergreen Cemetery to render military honors for a local Yreka veteran.

In the quiet of that moment — the folding of the flag, the final salute — we remembered a life lived in service to our nation. It is one of the greatest privileges we hold.

Every veteran deserves to be honored with dignity. Our detachment provides military honors for veterans of any branch of service, ensuring their sacrifice is never forgotten.

📅 Monthly Meetings
The Marine Corps League, Siskiyou Detachment No. 936, meets at 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at the Yreka Elks Lodge #1980, 322 W. Miner St., Yreka, CA 96097. Veterans and active duty members are welcome.
