It’s National Coffee Day! Here’s to the local Coordinators and volunteers who run on hope, dedication... and a little coffee. ☕

Today, we raise our mugs to you—the dedicated individuals organizing donation drives, sorting toys, and spreading cheer in your communities. Your tireless efforts are the heartbeat of our mission, and we’re so grateful for every early morning, late night, and coffee-fueled moment you give.

The Toys for Tots Holiday Campaign kickoff is just days away on October 1st. Let’s make this season brighter—one toy, one child, one act of kindness, and one cup of coffee at a time.

🎁Siskiyou County Toys for Tots Needs a Workshop Space! 🎁

For the last 20 years, Toys for Tots has brought Christmas joy to children right here in Siskiyou County…..but we need YOUR help to make it happen. ❤️

We’re looking for a building to use as our workshop and toy distribution center for the holiday season (October–December). This space is where we’ll sort, store, and organize toys before they go out to local families.

🎄What we need:

• Safe, accessible building space, with heat, water and a restroom
• Large enough to hold toys, volunteers and bags waiting delivery (3000+ sq.ft)
• Temporary, just for the holiday season
• Preferably in Yreka

If you have a building we could use, or know someone who might, please reach out! Your generosity would directly help bring smiles and holiday magic to children across Siskiyou County.

Christmas Eve is just 4 months from today!
Our local Toys for Tots team is in need of a space to turn into our North Pole Workshop. This is the place that we make all the magic happen….the sorting and organizing of toys and books, packing bags and organizing deliveries for over 2500 local children.
If you own a building, or know the owner of an empty building, please let us know or share this post.
Ideally the building would be in Yreka, 3000-4000sq.ft or bigger with lights, heat and a working restroom. Our team works 12-14 hour days from mid-October until Christmas Eve (then a week for clean-up). We have a 20+ year history of being excellent tenants. The donation the building and utilities are a possible tax deduction.

So much to do…so little time! Last Christmas was our biggest and most challenging. We cannot do what we do without your dedication and support. Please consider stepping up to help this amazing organization. A toy at Christmas is so much more than “just a toy”. It provides hope, joy and a sense that things might just be ok.
