Siskiyou Speaks made its way to Summer Jam last night! 🎶

I caught up with Kris Taylor of Shoppe Serendipity to hear what she loves most about Siskiyou County, which local business is one of her favorites, and what she believes could make our community even better.

This series is a collaboration between Pure Siskiyou and the Siskiyou Economic Development Council, created to highlight the people who live, work, create, and invest right here in our county.

🎤 Siskiyou Speaks: McCloud 🪵

This time, Siskiyou Speaks took me to McCloud during one of the community’s favorite traditions, the Lumberjack Fiesta!

In partnership with Siskiyou Economic Development Council, I’m traveling around the county and talking with the people who live, work, and build their lives here. The goal is simple: hear directly from our communities about what makes Siskiyou a great place to call home and what helps our small towns continue to grow and thrive.

And there may be no better time to hear from McCloud than when the community is gathered together celebrating a tradition that has brought people together for generations.

I love getting to have these conversations and share a little more of the people and places that make Siskiyou, Siskiyou.

Meet Chad McCall, founder of Mountain Medics Inc.

Before launching Mountain Medics in Mt. Shasta, Chad built a career serving others as an EMT, ski patroller, and search and rescue professional. Today, Mountain Medics provides medical support and remote technical rescue services for wildland fires, disasters, and other emergency incidents throughout the region.
