Stuffed animals are included in every comfort bag we create for youth entering the foster care system. They may come into care with very little that belongs to them. A stuffed animal can make all the difference.

We are in need of flashlights for our comfort bags! Comfort bags are given to youth entering into foster care.

Usually when youth are removed from their house they are given a few minutes to put what they can into a trash bag. This is what they come into foster care with.

Comfort bags give them the essentials they need: their own pillow, blanket, soap, tooth brush, stuffed animal and a flashlight.

It may seem small but imagine being in an unfamiliar house with strangers and hearing a sound in the middle of the night. A flashlight illuminates the darkness and brings some comfort to a child in need.
