Our Book For March Discussion will be
"We Were Eight Years in Power" by award winning author Ta-Nehisi Coates. We will meet on March 27, 2018 @ 7:00. The Whittaker Branch YDL Library.

Our book for February will be "No One is Coming to Save Us", by author Linda Jones. We will meet on February 27, 2018 @ 7:00 PM. We meet the last Tuesday of each month.

Our January Book will be "TearsWeCannot Stop: A sermon to White America", by Michael Eric Dyson. We meet the Last Thursday of the each month at 7:00 PM at the Whittaker Branch of the YDL Ypsilant District Library. Our next book discussion group will meet on 1/30.2018.

Our Book For September was Michigan reads, X by Ilyasah Shabazz. It was a very interesting discussion. The book is marketed as a book for young adults. We thought it was more for adults or high school students with careful guidance & direction.
