Love this!

Scott Beal’s new Dzanc Books poetry collection, “Stegosaurus Moon,” moves through the aftermath of divorce. We spoke to the Ypsilanti author and director of the Lloyd Scholars for Writing and the Arts program at the University of Michigan about his new book ahead of the launch event at Literati Bookstore on Tuesday, June 16.

Beal was also interviewed on WCBN's "Living Writers" program, so we linked to the audio in our article. He's also a musician and will perform at YpsiAlehouse on July 29.

We will kick off with an indoor or outdoor 30-
minute lesson, each focusing on one of the elements of art (line, shape, form/value, space, texture, color). Group-rove through the neighborhood to choose
from a variety of sketching subjects.
Share and receive feedback during the
final 15-minute sketch “throwdown.”
