Yesterday, Eagle's Nest Family Camp began. It is such a rare opportunity for parents and children to bond in the ways that only camp can provide. Singing silly songs together, performing a skit, doing a craft, perhaps even jumping in a lake first thing in the morning... Family Camp is special. Family Camp creates memories.

Thank you to all of our families for creating memories with us!

In 1937, Snow White taught us all that to clean effectively, it helps to "Whistle While You Work." When tackling the enormous job of cleaning and setting up camp, the staff still takes that notion to heart... Only instead of whistling, we sing loudly... And the subject matter may be about a silly moose, his brother, and some butter. . We are almost ready for you, campers!!!

Let's bounce to Belle Isle on Saturday, August 29th!
Community Member, Claude Moore is achieving an incredible feat... a stretch, if you will. He has created the worlds largest Rubber Band Ball!
This labor of love has been growing in a private storage unit, but will be available for public viewing at a celebration event hosted by Claude. Join us in celebrating this massive achievement!
See the poster below for more details!

Quest has concluded. Our campers are back home, safe and sound. (And we are willing to bet that their own beds have never felt so good!)
Congratulations to everyone that took on what is arguably our most challenging camp experience. You braved the elements, and bugs. You found water sources, created shelter, cooked on the go, and even infused out on the trail. Campers: you can do ANYTHING!

Next week, our Dinner Talk will feature the story of Vaughn Ripley , a triple-H survivor who has taken a challenging health journey and turned it into one of hope and purpose. Recently, .life created this short film about Vaughn. We hope that you enjoy and take this opportunity to learn.

Our Dinner Talks are often attended by adults young and old, but Vaughn asked us to share that parents should not be shy about inviting their teenagers, young adults and anyone that might benefit from an inspirational message. He is eager to share with all!
