Eleven students participated in EMU’s Drama Day this year. The day included workshops (singing, dancing, acting, directing, makeup, painting…) and a chance to see EMU’s performance of Metamorphoses. LHS Theatre brings all types of experiences.

Don’t forget our can/bottle drive is this week!

The Lincoln High School Theatre students are holding a bottle and can drive to help raise money for the new school year. The LHS theatre program does not receive school funds, so donations help us purchase paint, building supplies, costumes, and all the things we need to bring performances to you.

Anyone planning a Labor Day picnic? From 9/8-9/11, you can drop off at one of our rehearsals or schedule a pick up at your home. If you choose to take them back yourself and donate the money, it can be left in the Booster Box in the rehearsal space or donate online at https://lhstheatre.ludus.com/12517.

Thank you!

From the Director: We’re Looking for a Tech Theater Director / Set Builder cordinator for MAMMA MIA!

We are ideally looking for someone who is available approximately 2–3 days a week from 4:00–7:00 PM to work with our students and help us build and create the set for the production.

This is a paid position, and we would love to find someone with experience in theater tech, set construction, carpentry, scenic design, or stage production who enjoys working with students and being part of a musical production.

If you or someone you know may be interested, please send us a private message for more information.

Fingerprinting/background clearance through WISD will be required.

Also if you are a parent and have any wood working experience and can volunteer for some time after school please let us know.

Thank you to the Ypsilanti Phoenix Freemason Lodge 13 for your generous donation to LHS Theatre Department! Madeline Hawkins represented us at their golf fundraiser, singing the national anthem.
