OCED is looking for volunteers!

If you are interested in addressing homelessness in our community, the Funding Review Team may be for you! The Funding Review Team reviews applications for funding and makes recommendations to the CoC board for state and federal funds. This committee informs how our community responds to and prevents homelessness.

To be a member of the FRT you must:
• have knowledge about Washtenaw County’s housing and homelessness response system
• review provided documents in preparation for meetings
• attend 5-7 meetings of up to 2 hours from May through October

Note: To prevent a conflict of interest, recipients of these funds cannot be a part of this committe

The Ypsilanti Planning Commission will hold a hybrid meeting on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024, at 7:00 pm. The meeting will occur in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 1 South Huron, Ypsilanti, MI 48197.

At the meeting, there will be two public hearings on:
-An adaptive reuse Planned Unit Development (PUD).
-The Electronic Messaging Board (EMB) Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment.

Written comments can be submitted before 4 pm August 20th, emailed to [email protected] or dropped off/mailed to City Hall.
