Thank you to everyone who participated in National Hazing Prevention Week! 💜 We appreciate everyone who showed up, participated, asked questions, shared resources, and helped us spread the message that belonging should never come at the cost of someone’s safety, dignity, or well-being.

But the work doesn’t stop here. Keep speaking up. Keep looking out for one another. Keep building communities where everyone can belong without having to earn it through harm. Hazing has no home at EMU.

It’s National Hazing Prevention Week! We hope to see everyone participate this week in helping us to raise awareness about hazing and join us in our mission of preventing it. Hazing has no place in Fraternity and Sorority Life at EMU.
But hazing is something that impacts more than just fraternities and sororities. It impacts students involved in all kinds of activities, including marching band, theatre, and athletics. We hope that by educating our campus community during this week, we can help everyone recognize hazing, understand the impact it can have, and feel empowered to speak up when something doesn’t feel right. Together, we can create a campus culture where belonging never comes at the expense of someone’s safety, dignity, or well-being.

On Sunday, our council leaders came together for their Fall Council Retreat! We spent time getting to know one another, discussing our purpose and culture, and wrapped up the day with minute-to-win-it games to inspire some friendly competition.

Thank you to our council officers for reminding us that leadership isn’t a position or a title; it’s a commitment. We’re excited to see what we can accomplish this year! 🦅💚

We’re proud to recognize the outstanding academic achievements of our chapters during the Winter 2026 semester. Through dedication, accountability, and a commitment to supporting one another, our students continue to demonstrate that leadership extends beyond the classroom and into it.

Congratulations to all of our chapters and members for their hard work this semester. Your commitment to scholarship reflects the values of Fraternity & Sorority Life and contributes to a stronger campus community.

Attention members of FSL Move In Madness is almost here! 🚨 ‼️

Join us on Thursday, August 27, from 9 AM to 3 PM as we help welcome new students to campus. This is a great opportunity to support incoming students, connect and network with the EMU community, and kick off the school year together.

Interested in volunteering? Be sure to sign up by the deadline August 4th. We can’t wait to see Fraternity and Sorority Life come together for one of EMU’s favorite events!

UIFI stands for the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute. Its a 4-day leadership experience where members of fraternities and sororities across the country come together to share their experiences and learn from each other, while exploring their own leadership style and how they want to impact change on their campuses.

EMU FSL is proud to send students each year to this experience. We cannot thank enough for providing this opportunity! 💗
