Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers who joined us for YSC’s First Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon 💛

YSC couldn't do what we do without you, so this time we wanted to take the opportunity to serve and celebrate YOU!

Fun fact: Did you know that some of our volunteers have been serving at the Ypsilanti Senior Center for more than 20 years?! Now that’s what we call community commitment! 👏 We also celebrated several volunteers who are just beginning their journey with us this year.

When we asked, why do you volunteer? We heard answers like:
❤️ To make a difference
🤝 To give back to the community
😊 To help others feel welcomed and connected

Those answers remind us exactly why volunteers are such an important part of YSC.

YSC would like to give a big thank you to Aubree’s Pizzeria & Grill for hosting our very first Dine to Donate event!

Proceeds will go toward continuing the YSC mission and supporting programs, activities, and opportunities for our seniors. 💚

The Ypsilanti Senior Center will be closed on Tuesday, August 4, for Election Day.

🍕 Pizza Sales for a Cause!

In partnership with Aubree’s Pizzeria & Grill, the Ypsilanti Senior Center will host an all-day Dine to Donate fundraiser on Friday, August 7.

A percentage of sales will benefit YSC and help us continue providing programs, activities, and services for the members we serve.

🎉 **We’re So Excited to See You at the YSC Grill & Chill This Saturday!** 🌭🍔

Bring your family and friends for an afternoon of food, fun, and community at the Ypsilanti Senior Center!

🍽️ **Suggested Meal Donation:**
Adults: $20
Children under 10: $5

**No one will be turned away!** Every donation—large or small—helps us continue serving our seniors and keeping YSC growing.

Your meal includes:
🍔 Hamburgers
🌭 Hot dogs
🌱 Vegan options
🥗 Salad
🌽 Corn
🥔 Chips
🍪 Cookies

🎨 Face painting begins at 3:00 PM
🏰 Bounce house for the children
