Michigan Deltas Say Black Maternal Health Matters! I am Jenita Moore, Michigan State Coordinator for the 25 Michigan Chapters of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Welcome to the Black Maternal-Infant Mortality Statewide campaign. Starting today through April 15, we will promote community awareness on maternal mortality, share information from our charitable partners, March of Dimes and DREF, provide self-advocacy tips, and support the CDC’s HEAR HER campaign and Black Mamas Matter Alliance. Our goal is to equip you with knowledge as well as provide you with social action items to help improve this devastating health disparity.
