The Optimist Club of Yountville had great success with the 1st semester of our generational farming project! We planted seeds to harvest Halloween pumpkins and learned how to raise chicks and grow food! Thank you Hoopes Oasis for feeding and watering the chickens and the vegetables we started! See you in the Fall!

Optimist Club of Yountville continued its generational farming project by introducing 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to Hoopes Oasis. Each student picked a baby chick, named it and helped decorate the habitat where they get to watch their chicks grow into chickens!
