Youngsville Eagle Sports Booster

Youngsville High School is expected to pay $55,000+ to the WCSD in order to run each of it's junior high, junior varsity and varsity sports programs. The $55,000 fee is currently split among the teams, which equals out to be $4,230. If a team is unable to pay their percentage of this deficit amount, that team is unable to compete during it's respective season as per the WCSD. This fee is a HUGE bu

rden for our student athletes, coaches and our community. Starting in the 2015-2016 school year, sports teams at Youngsville will be expected to pay an amount equal to the percentage of the budget that it costs to run that sport. For example, if it costs cross country 5% of the allotted budget money, then XC will pay 5% of the projected deficit. If is costs football 16% of the budget, then football will pay 16% of the deficit amount. The Youngsville Eagle Sports Booster was created to be a united organization to raise the funds needed to pay the WCSD Youngsville's expected athletic fees. We will take that $55,000+ burden away from our coaches and programs. Individual booster programs will continue in their current state of existence as a support group for their respective team.
