Acadiana Advocacy Network We are a local non-profit organization that provides support/donations to individuals in need.

I have volunteered in the surrounding areas as a community advocate for many years. I have been blessed to have partnered with a number of local agencies and compassionate people who are willing to help those in need. In the past year, the numbers of calls have dramatically increased with needs for our local homeless, veterans, elderly, and families needing support. This is when I decided to start

a non-profit organization to help offer more support and education to those individuals who may only need some direction or those who's needs are great. Our mission is to help empower individuals to play a role in meeting the needs of our community.

It’s been a little bit since I posted. We have been busy with filling the needs in our community. Last week we were able to donate 2 hospital beds, a hoyer lift, and an electric wheelchair to 2 families. This week we were able to find a queen bed and dresser for a teenager who had to be placed in a new home and help a family with adult diapers/pullups. So grateful for our community for always stepping up to help!! God Bless you!

We’re proud to host Lucy’s Diaper Drive here at Avanti Senior Living at Lafayette!
From September 7–14, we’ll be collecting diaper donations to benefit local families who need a helping hand.
