We love to see it! Nice work Wake Forest, NC Optimist Club!

Today we delivered ten Comfort Kits to Child Protective Services at the Northern Wake Regional Center, in Wake Forest. The Comfort Kits include ten colorful no sew blankets, pillows, an electronic game, a duffle bag/suitcase, frame, toiletries and gift cards. When a child is pulled out of their home - they are handed a black garbage bag to collect their stuff. The Comfort kit gives them a sense of 'someone cares about them'! Thank you to the The Koinonia Foundation of Wake Forest for the grant to provide this much needed service to our children.

DID YOU KNOW: The word Koinonia is Greek and translates to “communion with others through intimate participation.” It is often used in the New Testament, symbolizing fellowship, participation, contribution, and sharing—values that guide our mission. Learn more at https://www.koinoniawf.org/

The Koinonia Foundation is guided by a dedicated all-volunteer Board of Directors. Our board members work tirelessly to fulfill the Foundation’s mission: to provide essential financial support to organizations addressing unmet human needs, and to assist individuals whose needs are not fully covered by other funding sources.
We are so thankful for the commitment, knowledge, and time that each of our Board members provides. Today, we want to thank Malorie Hoy Ingold, our current President, for her tireless commitment. We appreciate you, Malorie!
