Community Vigil in honor of Pierre Damas Bel and all others who have sadly passed due to ICE. Thank you to everyone who participated, spoke, and helped organize such a meaningful event.

In his final weeks, he was forced to wear an ICE ankle monitor — a device his family says brought him shame and bullying he couldn’t carry alone.

“I didn’t come here to commit a crime or hurt anyone. Yet now I’m walking through the streets of the United States with a GPS monitor on my leg, carrying a feeling of shame and humiliation that I never imagined I would experience.” — Pierre

Join us as we gather to grieve, to demand accountability, and to remember Pierre as who he was: a young man with hopes and dreams.

Huge shoutout to everyone who stood in solidarity to honor the individuals who have been impacted and murdered by ICE. This is what our community needs more of — neighbors coming together to protect neighbors. 🕯️

When we show up together, we remind each other that we are not alone.

Every sign held, every conversation started, and every voice raised is a step toward a stronger, more connected community. Change doesn’t happen because a few people care — it happens because many people decide to act.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in standing up for human rights, dignity, and justice for all.
