This weekend we are coming together to build a community garden at the Honeycomb Arts and Wellness Collective.

Join us May 16–17 (Saturday and Sunday) from 12–8 PM. All supplies will be provided, and we’ll be hosting a community barbecue for volunteers during the day.

At 8 PM each evening, we’ll close the day with a community bonfire after planting is complete.

This event is free and open to the public. We welcome everyone to stop by for as long as they’re able, even if just for a short visit.

We will also be collecting shelf-stable food items to support our Freedom Fighter Family Pantry initiative.

Community partners will be joining us and tabling throughout the weekend, including the Community Liberation Foundation, who is working on the Undue Medical Debt campaign here in Mahoning County to help eliminate local medical debt.

There will be a wide variety of activities, opportunities to connect, and ways to get involved. We hope to see the community come out and build with us.

Help us keep our Freedom Fighter Family Pantries stocked and accessible for the community 💚🥫

We’re looking for volunteers who want to help maintain and stock our pantries, as well as community members who want to donate food, hygiene products, or ready-to-eat meals.

You can stock the pantry anytime on your own schedule — every small act helps keep food available for neighbors in need.

📍 Donation Drop-Off Times:
• Mondays at Thrive Mahoning Valley | 12 PM – 4 PM
• HoneyComb Wellness Center | 5 PM – 7:30 PM

Please donate what you can, take what you need, and help us spread the word. Together, we can build a stronger culture of mutual aid and community care.

Big gratitude to everyone who showed up and signed the GIANT “We the People” Preamble as it makes its journey across Ohio to D.C.

On May 3rd, at the Calvin Center for the Arts during the 6th Annual , over 150 community members added their names —standing together for something bigger than all of us.
