JV Game has been pushed back from 530 to 6pm at Canfield Stadium tonight with Varsity to follow

Youngstown Saints football is back in action tonight as we travel to Canfield to take on the Cardinals.

JV players need to arrive by 5:15 PM for the 6:00 PM kickoff. Varsity players need to arrive by 6:30 PM, with the Varsity game beginning after the conclusion of JV.

Players, make sure you bring all of your gear and come prepared. Please hydrate before the game and continue hydrating throughout the night.

Play together, compete hard, and represent the Saints the right way.

2026 ST. CHARLES FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE

As the new school year begins, football season is upon us. We once again have the opportunity for our children to enjoy participating in the St. Charles Flag Football League.

Eligibility & Fees:
This league is open to boys and girls who attend a Diocesan school, parish, or a Diocese religion class (CCD). Age divisions include PK-1st graders and 2nd – 4th graders.

Fee: $95.00 per child (includes team shirt, flags, mouthpiece, and end of year Pizza Bowl party for all participants).

Team Formation:
All teams are selected at random, and siblings will be placed on the same team. Please do not request neighbors or friends be grouped together. This helps ensure balanced teams and promotes new friendships.

League Structure & Dates:
PK - 1st grade: Recreational
2nd - 4th grade: Slightly competitive
Location: Cardinal Mooney High School Field
Games: Saturday mornings starting Sept. 12
Final Event: Pizza Bowl on Oct. 24
6 regular season games and 1-day bracket tournament
Practices begin first week of September

Participation & Awards:
During the season, coaches will focus on balanced participation. All teams compete in the Pizza Bowl. Trophies awarded to Champions and Runners-up.

Registration:
Deadline: Friday, August 21
Submit player registration and payment through TeamLinkt (link below).
COACHES—We can always use the help of volunteer coaches to help each team. If you are interested in helping out, there is a signup drop down specifically for coaches. Thank you in advance!
