Read For Teens is small local youth organization comprised of people right here in the heart of the Mahoning Valley that want to give back to the community—and who believe that this starts with youth inspiring youth. Reads For Teens collects and recycles books from donors from the Mahoning Valley area to give to local teens in schools, hospitals, shelters and neighborhood parks. Our members distri
bute gift bags containing books, stickers, and hand written motivational letters to inspire young people. In this small way, we serve local youth by encouraging reading, literacy, and learning. We believe that local organizations like Read For Teens can help shape the future of young people through motivation and encouragement. By contributing to Read For Teens, residents of the Mahoning Valley can give back to their community in small and positive ways that really can make a difference in the life of a young person.
