What if one hour a week could change the course of a child's life? 💙

That's what it means to be a CASA volunteer advocate. You don't need a law degree or a background in social work — just a caring heart and a willingness to show up for a child who's navigating one of the hardest chapters of their life.

Advocates get to know their assigned child, gather information from everyone involved in their case, and speak up in court to make sure the child's best interests are always front and center. It's simple, but it's powerful.

Kendall County kids are waiting for someone like you.

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month — a time to shine a light on an issue that affects far too many families. 💜

Domestic violence doesn't just impact the adults involved — it deeply affects the children who witness or experience it, often leaving lasting emotional and psychological effects.

Our volunteer advocates work to ensure that every child's voice is heard, their safety is prioritized, and their path forward leads to stability and healing.

If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, help is available. You are not alone. 💜

This month, we also invite you to consider becoming a CASA advocate — because every child deserves someone who shows up for them, especially during life's hardest moments.
