3:11 Project

3:11 Project 501c3 charity The 3:11 Project mission is to utilize social media as a conduit for social good in the local community.

We work with families and individuals experiencing hardship in Illinois’ Fox Valley area. We connect our clients with people and organizations that have the resources they need to survive as we work with them to develop a plan to transition from surviving to thriving. We also strive to inspire those in our community to build friendships and show compassion through service to one another.

🚨 We Need Our Community’s Help to Keep Our Office Open 🚨

We are one month behind on rent, another month is now due, and our annual state filing fees must also be paid this month. We are asking for help to meet these immediate obligations and keep the office open through the end of 2026.

Our office is not simply a place where we store supplies or complete administrative work. It is where we welcome people who need support and help them identify their next steps.

Community members come to our office to:

❤️ Access clothing, hygiene products, household necessities, and other items from our resource closet
❤️ Receive help finding food assistance, housing programs, counseling, and other local resources
❤️ Search and apply for jobs
❤️ Create or update résumés
❤️ Apply to colleges, schools, and training programs
❤️ Meet with volunteer social workers for support and, when available, mental health counseling
❤️ Sit down with someone who will listen without judgment and help them move forward

For many of the people we serve, this office is one of the few places where they can walk in, feel welcomed, and receive individualized help.

Our immediate expenses include:

🏠 One month of past-due rent: $850
🏠 The current month’s rent: $850
📄 Annual state filing fees due this month: $400
🌐 Internet service: $87 per month

After addressing these immediate bills, we hope to raise enough to continue paying the office rent (rent increases by $50 in September upon lease renewal), internet, website expenses, and other basic operating costs through the end of the year.

We have kept going for as long as possible, but we cannot protect this space without help from our community.

Are there any really strong people who could move the micropantry back under our neighbors deck? It’s too hot and it’s making everything inside too hot. It needs to be in the shade. 😩

URGENT NEED — A SAFE PLACE TO LAND FOR DV SURVIVOR**

Several months ago, a woman in our community fled a domestic violence situation. Because she was not connected with a domestic violence shelter within the eligibility window after fleeing, she was unable to access shelter services. She has now been living in her car for several months.

We received a referral for her through **Metropolitan Family Services and Elevated Keys **. Elevated Keys has space available at its new Chicago location, but we need to raise **$750 to cover her housing fee for the month**.

This is an opportunity to help her move out of her car and into a safe, stable home as she continues rebuilding her life.

Because the new house is not yet furnished, she will also need everything necessary for her bedroom. We will share the official **Elevated Keys Amazon wish list in the comments** for anyone who would prefer to purchase an item directly.

**If you would like to help financially:**

**Note: **

**PayPal:** [email protected]
**Venmo:**
**Zelle:** [email protected]

Every donation, share, and wish-list purchase will help give her a safe place to land.

**Important scam warning:**
Scammers sometimes create fake accounts or comment under posts like this pretending to collect donations. Please do not send money to anyone who comments, messages you, or provides different payment information. **3:11 Project donations should only be sent through the payment options listed above.** If you are ever unsure, please contact us directly before donating.
