Peninsula Youth Hockey Association We believe that mastering the fundamental skills and playing hockey in a fun environment are essential to the development of a life-long interest in hockey.

The Peninsula Youth Hockey Association is a non-profit, all volunteer organization focused on developing area youth hockey players in a safe and fun environment. Providing recreational hockey programs for the youth of Hampton Roads, Virginia, to include, among others, Newport News, Hampton, Yorktown, Williamsburg, Gloucester, Smithfield and Suffolk, our philosophy is to provide developmental progr

ams for aspiring hockey players to learn basic skills for the sport in a healthy, competitive environment.

CHILLED PONDS HOCKEY ACADEMY IS AN 18 WEEK PROGRAM THAT REPLACES LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY IN THE SPRING AND SUMMER MONTHS. IT IS DESIGNED TO PREPARE YOUR CHILD TO PARTICIPATE ON A TEAM IN THE WHALER NATION REC LEAGUE COME THE FALL. SESSIONS WILL BE HELD IN BOTH CHESAPEAKE AND YORKTOWN.

Don't forget to come to our LAST Prowl End of Season party TOMORROW (Mon, 3/13) from 6:30-7:30pm. It is open to ALL families who participated in Prowl (Hockey U through U18!). There will be plenty of food and free skate! All Prowl players and kids under 18 MUST wear a helmet on the ice. 🏒🥅🍕🍰
