On the eve of the 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremonies yesterday, we celebrated the work of our outgoing ELS Steering Committee Chair, Adam Krininger , and his dedication to the Emerging Leaders Society and United Way of the Virginia Peninsula from 2019-2024. He has officially “passed the torch” to our former Vice-Chair, Holli Wilson , who will lead ELS into another impactful year of giving. Please join us in wishing them both luck in their endeavors!

Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who joined us for our 2024 ELS Earth Day Shore Clean-Up! Our Emerging Leaders team removed nearly 100 pounds of trash from Mariners' Lake. This outstanding effort has contributed to The Mariners' Museum and Park's staff and volunteers’ current running total of over 6700 pounds of trash collected this year. Thank you again for your hard work in taking care of Mother Earth!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our 2023 Angel Tree Drive last night at Tradition Brewing Company . The overwhelming love and support of our community was evidenced by an enthusiastic turnout and so many donations that The Salvation Army had to call in for additional backup!
