Does a puzzle book count as a book recommendation count?!
I say yes! I got this book for Mothers Day and have been addicted! Fun for when you just have a free 5 minutes or while waiting in a waiting room or even while sitting out in the yard letting the kids run in the sprinkler!

This book is an absolute must for mystery lovers who want to participate in the story instead of just reading it. Packed with 100 logic-based murder mysteries, quirky suspects, hidden codes, maps, and escalating difficulty, it feels like a mashup of Clue, Sudoku, and an Agatha Christie whodunit.

What makes Murdle especially fun is its interactive nature — every puzzle invites you to become the detective alongside Deductive Logico, using clues and logic grids to uncover the killer, weapon, and location. The puzzles start approachable and steadily grow more challenging, making it perfect for both casual puzzlers and hardcore mystery fans.

This is a fantastic recommendation for readers who enjoy:

- cozy mysteries with humor
- escape rooms and logic puzzles
-interactive books and brain teasers
- fans of The Appeal or classic detective fiction
- people who got addicted to Wordle-style games and want something meatier

Fair warning: it’s very addictive. Many readers mention “just one more puzzle” turning into hours of sleuthing.

If you’ve ever wondered how Peter Pan became Peter Pan, Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson is a wildly imaginative adventure that brings Neverland’s origins to life. Packed with pirates, storms at sea, mysterious magic, and unforgettable characters, this fast-paced story reimagines the classic Peter Pan tale with humor and heart.

The story follows orphaned Peter and the clever Molly Aster as they race to protect a magical substance called “starstuff” from falling into the wrong hands. Along the way, readers meet the wonderfully dramatic Black Stache — the pirate who will eventually become Captain Hook — and discover the beginnings of familiar Neverland legends.

This book is perfect for readers who enjoy:

Adventure and fantasy
Clever humor and witty dialogue
Pirate stories and magical worlds
Twists on classic fairy tales

Fans often praise how the series expands Peter Pan lore while still feeling fresh and exciting. Many readers especially love the backstory it gives to Hook, Tinker Bell, and Neverland itself.

Whether you’re a longtime Peter Pan fan or discovering the story for the first time, Peter and the Starcatchers is an unforgettable voyage full of danger, wonder, and the magic of never growing up.
