Does a puzzle book count as a book recommendation count?!
I say yes! I got this book for Mothers Day and have been addicted! Fun for when you just have a free 5 minutes or while waiting in a waiting room or even while sitting out in the yard letting the kids run in the sprinkler!
This book is an absolute must for mystery lovers who want to participate in the story instead of just reading it. Packed with 100 logic-based murder mysteries, quirky suspects, hidden codes, maps, and escalating difficulty, it feels like a mashup of Clue, Sudoku, and an Agatha Christie whodunit.
What makes Murdle especially fun is its interactive nature — every puzzle invites you to become the detective alongside Deductive Logico, using clues and logic grids to uncover the killer, weapon, and location. The puzzles start approachable and steadily grow more challenging, making it perfect for both casual puzzlers and hardcore mystery fans.
This is a fantastic recommendation for readers who enjoy:
- cozy mysteries with humor
- escape rooms and logic puzzles
-interactive books and brain teasers
- fans of The Appeal or classic detective fiction
- people who got addicted to Wordle-style games and want something meatier
Fair warning: it’s very addictive. Many readers mention “just one more puzzle” turning into hours of sleuthing.
