Isaias and his guide dog Rocky have already accomplished so much in their first year together, and we couldn’t be prouder as they set off on their next big adventure: college! šŸŽ“

After graduating from St. Bernard’s High School in Connecticut, Isaias leaves behind an impressive academic journey filled with Advanced Placement courses, college classes, and standout extracurriculars.

A dedicated fencer for four years, he served as team captain for two and even qualified for and competed in this year’s Junior Olympics! This team is ready for their next big adventure: attending Seton Hall University to begin the 3+3 program where he’ll earn both his undergraduate and law degrees in just six years!

Of course, Rocky is coming along for the ride. As Isaias shared, ā€œRocky will also be going to university to study business and law, and we have high hopes for him! On a serious note, he’s been my rock and my greatest companion. With him by my side, I’m ready and confident to take on anything.ā€

We can’t wait to see all that they accomplish next. šŸ’™

Drumroll please 🄁

These incredible pups have truly blown us away and now they’re stepping into an exciting new chapter of their journeys!

Seven of the puppies, Rafiki, Rajah, Robin, Reveille, Rodeo, Rascal, and Richard, are continuing their path to becoming guide dogs. Their next big milestone? Being matched with a dedicated volunteer puppy raiser. Soon, they will head home with loving individuals who will nurture, train, and cheer them on over the next year as they prepare for formal guide dog training. šŸ’™

Meanwhile, Roy & Risa have chosen a different adventure, life as cherished pets, and are already settling into their forever homes.

We couldn’t be prouder of every one of these amazing pups and it’s support from people like you that makes their journeys possible.

Right now, your impact can go even further. Thanks to a generous group of donors, every gift will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $30,000. Don’t wait: this opportunity ends tonight (6/11) at midnight!

Give now and double your impact šŸ’™šŸ’™: https://bit.ly/SummerMatch2026

Tomorrow is a very special day at Guiding Eyes for the Blind’s Canine Development Center!

Our litter of nine special Labrador retriever puppies, Robin, Risa, Reveille, Roy, Rajah, Richard, Rafiki, Rodeo, and Rascal, are taking their formal puppy test, a meaningful step on their journey to becoming Guiding Eyes guide dogs šŸ’™

During their puppy test, our team will evaluate each puppy’s enjoyment of working with people, along with their confidence, curiosity, and resilience in new environments. These tests help determine readiness for the next phase of their journey.

šŸ’› Right now, your support can have twice the impact. Gifts made through June 11 will be DOUBLED up to $30,000, helping more people with vision loss receive a guide dog 🦮 Donate here: https://bit.ly/SummerMatch2026

Wish these puppies luck! We’ll be sure to share how they did! 🦮

This might be the cutest donation we’ve ever received! The students in Mrs. Ganassi’s Pre-School Program worked hard to raise funds in support of the guide dogs at Guiding Eyes for the Blind!

When it came time to present their donation, their excitement was contagious, especially as they learned more about Guiding Eyes and met two of our guide dogs in training.Ā

If their generosity today is any indication, this incredible group of young people is destined to do amazing things in the world!

šŸŽ¶ Taking a midnight train going anywhere šŸŽ¶ For future guide dogs, learning to navigate public transportation is an essential part of the journey! Our Cleveland Puppy Raising Region recently visited a major transit hub to practice working through the hustle and bustle, and they handled it like pros while having a great time.

Behind every confident guide dog is a dedicated Puppy Raiser creating meaningful, real world experiences like this. Each outing helps build a rich ā€œlibraryā€ of skills these puppies will carry with them into their future careers.

Want to be part of the journey and make a lasting impact? Become a Puppy Raiser with Guiding Eyes and help shape a future guide dog. šŸ’™ Join this incredible community of Puppy Raisers: https://bit.ly/geb_puppyraiser

Join us in sending a huge THANK YOU to the incredible team at Mastercard for spending not one, but two volunteer days with us at both our Canine Development Center and Training School campuses! šŸ¾šŸ’™

From preparing our ā€œRegal Gardensā€ for the season to bathing dogs and assembling food enrichment toys, these teams jumped in wherever help was needed. Of course, there was no shortage of pups to love along the way!

Each volunteer day wrapped up with a special training demonstration and the opportunity to walk with a guide dog under blindfold, offering meaningful insight into what it’s like to partner with a guide dog.

Thank you, Mastercard, for your hard work, generosity, and commitment to our mission. We also want to extend our thanks to Volunteer New York!, for their excellent job coordinating these hardworking volunteer groups. We’re so grateful to have you both by our side! [Alt text provided!]
