🎙️ Interview at WLCH Radio Centro in Lancaster!

Latinos Unidos of York had the honor of being featured on WLCH Radio Centro 107.1 FM yesterday, where our Director of the Ambassador Program, Jessica Morales, joined community partner Pastores Alvarado from Stop The Violence for an important conversation about collaboration and community impact. 🙌

During the interview, we highlighted something core to who we are: Latinos Unidos is a connector.

Rather than offering direct services, we strengthen the incredible organizations already doing that work in our region. We do this by building relationships, creating referrals, supporting volunteers, and helping our partners grow.

Jessica shared a great example through her work with Mano a Mano Community Center, where her service hours help boost their capacity and expand the support they provide to our community. This is exactly what partnership looks like in action.

We also talked about our Ambassador Program, which invites anyone with a heart for service to give even a little of their time to help lift up York community efforts. Every hour truly makes a difference. 💛

And of course, we mentioned Second Friday Latino, our event that celebrates Latino culture, bringing our community together in a joyful and meaningful way. 🎉
