💙💛 What does Rotary mean to YOU?

That was one of the great questions posed by our guest speaker, future District Governor Tom Talbot, at this week's York Rotary meeting!

We learned about an exciting October 17th district event supporting Hero Pups, an organization helping veterans and first responders through specially trained companion dogs. 🐾🇺🇸 We're proud that York Rotary has already contributed $500 toward this incredible cause!

We also talked about growing Rotary, welcoming new members, and the amazing things we can accomplish when we work together.

And with our Car with a Cause drawing on October 17th and Pints for Polio on October 22nd, there's plenty happening in York Rotary!

✨ Rotary is more than service. It's friendship, community, and making a difference together.

Every vote counts! Our very own York Rotarian and White Pine Programs Director, Heather Campbell, does so much for the community. Vote now!

Did you know White Pine delivered 75 free programs last year? Grant funding makes this possible. Please vote for us in the TCU Better Neighborhood Fund contest today (and tomorrow, and well Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, too please) 🙏 😉 Voting link in first comment!

Building a stronger food network in York County!

This week, York Rotary welcomed Alex Gramling from the York County Food Hub, who shared an exciting vision for improving food storage, food rescue and distribution while supporting local pantries throughout York County.

With demand at local food pantries continuing to grow, the Food Hub hopes to bring organizations and resources together to help create a more efficient and resilient local food system.

Thank you, Alex, for joining us and sharing this important community initiative!

York Rotary Recap – September 11 🌟

We were delighted to welcome District Governor Michele Bois-Gilbody and Assistant District Governor Pam Gray to York Rotary this week!

Michele shared a powerful message about Attraction & Engagement and what it means to Create Lasting Impact. She reminded us that our stories, our kindness, our connections—and sometimes simply inviting someone to join us—are what keep Rotary strong. ❤️

We also celebrated a fantastic Beach Bonfire fundraiser, CWAC 2026 selling out, a ShelterBox Bronze Hero Award, and several upcoming opportunities to serve our community.
