Our Thomasville 4-H Community Club is welcoming new members! They will be picking their projects for the 2026-2027 program year soon. Now's a great time to check them out!

The Thomasville 4-H Community Club meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month at our York County 4-H Center at 6 pm! Youth ages 5-18, as of January 1, 2025, are welcome to join. The club is planning to participate in projects in the areas of plants, crafts, food, and leadership.

Visit their next meeting on Tuesday, October 22 at 6 pm!

Attention York County 4-H teens!

🚨Mark your calendar for State Leadership Conference!

Registration for this event will open on ✨Friday, October 9 at 5pm✨ and close on December 1.

SLC will be held from February 5-7, 2027 at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. The event is open to 4-H teens, ages 13 to 18.

You must be in active status to register, so be sure to reenroll as soon as possible if you plan to attend!

It's time for our Pennsylvania 4-H Volunteer Spotlight!

Each week, Pennsylvania 4-H highlights volunteers who are doing great work around the state.

Today, we are celebrating Brandi Stauffer of York County! She has been a 4-H volunteer for 4 years.

Her nominator says, "while new to the 4-H program, Brandi has jumped in with both feet. She is currently co-leading both our Thomasville 4-H Community Club and our York County 4-H Teen Council. Brandi is also graciously serving on our York County 4-H Program Development Committee."

In addition to her year-round support of the 4-H program, Brandi leads workshops at the York County 4-H Day Camp and is happy to jump in to provide additional help where needed.

Registration for our Pie Baking 4-H Project Club is September 24th! Don't miss it!

🍀🥧York County 4-H is hosting a Pie Baking project club this Fall!🥧🍀

We are exploring pie recipes this Fall. Join us to learn how to make all kinds of pies from scratch! The project club will take place over four weeks in the kitchen at the 4-H Center. Pies will include tasty features such as homemade crusts, fruit fillings, graham cracker crusts, and classics like pumpkin pie and shoo-fly pie. We will get to make and taste our pies each week!

Participants will complete 4-H project requirements by the end of the club and can exhibit a pie, project book, and project story next summer for 4-H project completion and judging at the York State Fair.

4-H Center, Kitchen
$20.00 per member
Registration is due September 24, 2026.
A pie plate is provided for each participant with the registration fee.
Supplies to bring each week: project book, pencil/pen, apron, hair tied back

Last night, members of the Bits N Bridles 4-H Club toured Bonded By Strength Equine Rescue to learn about their operation. Club members had a great time and learned a lot! We appreciate them hosting this 4-H Club.
